PRABUMULIH, – Ribuan masyarakat Kota Prabumulih tumpah ruah dalam peringatan HUT Kota Prabumulih ke-22 Tahun 2023, Pemerintah kota Prabumulih menggelar senam sehat bersama, yang bertempat di Taman kota Prabujaya, Minggu (22/10/2023).
Usai subuh, rangkaian agenda kegiatan mulai dilaksanakan mulai dari jalan santai sembari aksi bersih pungut sampah di sepanjang rute Jl. Sudirman. Finishnya di pertigaan Tugu Pahlawan Serangan Balas, tak jauh dari Taman Kota Prabujaya. Selanjutnya peserta jalan santai dan aksi pungut sampah yang dipimpin oleh Pj. Walikota Prabumulih H. Elman, ST, MM beserta rombongan jajaran OPD dan Forkopimda langsung menuju podium di Taman Kota Prabujaya untuk mengikuti senam sehat bersama.
Selain itu sejumlah hadiah telah disiapkan seperti Sepeda Motor (2 unit), sepeda (13 unit) dan hadiah hiburan lainnya berupa kipas angin, rice cooker, sembako yang akan dibagikan pada masyarakat yang beruntung. Doorprize diundi secara langsung oleh Pj Walikota Prabumulih, Pj. Sekda, Forkopimda, serta Panitia Pelaksana Acara tersebut.
Pj Walikota Prabumulih H. Elman, ST, MM menyampaikan, ”bahwa acara ini merupakan rangkaian HUT Kota Prabumulih ke-22 Tahun. Berbagai kegiatan kita lakukan,yaitu jalan sehat sambil pungut sampah dilanjutkan senam bersama”.
“Sembari melakukan jalan sehat,kita melakukan pungut sampah. Dengan demikian badan kita jadi bersih dan tentunya badan jadi sehat. Masyarakat kita jadi tahu bahwa membersihkan lingkungan, bukan hanya tugas penyapu jalan tetapi tugas kita semua. Kepada anak-anak sekolah SD-SMP, masyarakat dan Wako juga ikut pungut sampah,” ucapnya kepada masyarakat Kota Prabumulih.
Sementara itu, pada kesempatan yang sama masih dalam rangka HUT Kota Prabumulih Ke-22 juga disampaikan pengumuman pemenang lomba karya tulis jurnalis yang diselenggarakan oleh Diskominfo Prabumulih.(*)
