PRABUMULIH, – Penjabat Walikota Prabumulih yang dalam hal ini diwakili oleh Asisten III Setda Kota Prabumulih Drs. Amilton membuka Musyawarah Cabang Gerakan Pramuka Kota Prabumulih di Hall Ishlahul Ummah Kel. Karang Raja, Minggu (19/11/2023).
Sebagai forum tertinggi tingkat Kwartir Cabang, Musyawarah Cabang (Muscab) ini diselenggarakan untuk merancang program -program organisasi sekaligus memilih Kepengurusan Kwartir Cabang Gerakan Pramuka Kota Prabumulih lima tahun kedepan (masa bakti 2024-2029).
Drs. Amilton mengapresiasi Gerakan Pramuka Kota Prabumulih yang dalam beberapa tahun ini telah meningkatkan hasil, sehingga minat kaum muda terhadap pramuka semakin meningkat. Berbagai kegiatan kepramukaan pun telah banyak dilaksanakan, para anggota pramuka juga berperan besar dalam membangkitkan semangat kebangsaan, menggalang semangat persatuan dan semangat bela negara, mengembangkan semangat pengabdian yang ikhlas, rela berkorban dan menolong sesama serta mencintai lingkungan yang berlandaskan Satya dan Darma Pramuka” katanya.
Ditambahkannya, Musyawarah Cabang merupakan perwujudan kedaulatan anggota karena memiliki wewenang untuk melakukan evaluasi pertanggungjawaban pengurus terhadap tugas-tugas yang telah dilaksanakan, menetapkan rencana kerja dan pokok-pokok kebijaksanaan untuk masa bakti 2024-2029, memilih pengurus kwartir cabang dan menghimpun serta merumuskan masukan-masukan dari kwartir ranting untuk perkembangan gerakan pramuka di Kota Prabumulih.
“Hal yang perlu kita perhatikan bahwa yang menjadi pokok dalam musyawarah cabang ini tidak hanya memilih ketua dan pengurus, tetapi bagaimana menyusun rencana kerja untuk lima tahun ke depan yang dapat sejalan, seiring dan selaras dengan program Pemerintah Kota Prabumulih untuk membangun Bumi Seinggok Sepemunyian yang kita banggakan,” tutupnya.
Dalam kegiatan ini, hadir beberapa tokoh penting, antara lain Ketua Kwartir Cabang Gerakan Pramuka Kota Prabumulih, H. Ahmad Sobri, SH, Ketua Pelaksana Musyawarah Cabang, Aftazani, Majelis Pembimbing Kwartir Ranting Kota Prabumulih, Kepala DKOP Joko Firdaus, S.Pd, serta tamu undangan lainnya. (*)
